Children's Theatre Workshop Summer Camps and Intensive set for May

Eastern Oklahoma State College's Theatre Department will host three Children's Theatre Workshop summer camps and intensive sessions in May. All proceeds fund EOSC's participation in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Future Stars

Presenting a staged reading of Shakespeare’s "A Midsummer Night’s Dream"

  • 7-11 year olds
  • May 21-24
  • 9 a.m. – Noon 
  • All campers guaranteed a role
  • $25 per camper - fee covers all supplies and a cast photo
  • Presentation of staged reading in the Johnnie Wray Theatre in Pratt Hall at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24.

Playmakers

Presenting a staged reading of Shakespeare’s "The Tempest"

  • 12-15 year olds
  • May 21-24
  • 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • All campers guaranteed a role
  • $25 per camper - fee covers all supplies and a cast photo
  • Presentation of staged reading in the Johnnie Wray Theatre in Pratt Hall at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 24.

Junior Thespians

Presenting a staged reading of Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet"

  • 16-18 year olds
  • May 27-31
  • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • All campers guaranteed a role and production assignment
  • $30 per camper - fee covers all supplies
  • Students must bring a sack lunch
  • Presentation of staged reading in the Johnnie Wray Theatre in Pratt Hall at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31.
