Eastern Oklahoma State College’s 2017 Prospect Pig Show results

WILBURTON, OK (Dec. 14, 2017) – Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted the annual Jackpot Prospect Pig Show Dec. 9 in the Goddard Building. The event was open to junior exhibitors from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas and offered a $2,000 scholarship to the Grand Champion exhibitor to attend Eastern and major in Agriculture. The results are as follows.

Grand Champion – Jaydn Gwartney, Adair, Okla.
Reserve Grand Champion – Adison Thompson, Noble, Okla.

Berkshire: Champion – Silver Sands, Mason, Okla.
Reserve Champion – Jaydn Gwartney, Adair, Okla.

Chester White: Champion – Levi Hood, Woodall, Okla., 4-H
Reserve Champion – Christian Hammons, Antlers, Okla.

Duroc: Champion – Caden Goodson, Harmony, Okla., 4-H
Reserve Champion – Dusty Fazekas, Red Oak, Okla.

Hampshire: Champion – Chase Martin, Red Oak, Okla.
Reserve Champion – Samuel Bryant, Talihina, Okla.

Hereford: Champion – Roy Duke, Porum, Okla.

Poland China: Champion – Heather Truitt, Red Oak, Okla.
