WILBURTON, OK (Oct. 28, 2013) – Eastern’s Phi Beta Lamda student organization attended the 2013 State Fall Leadership Conference on Oct. 26 in Tulsa.
The all-day event included many programs and seminars that informed members on specific officer duties, finding the right college and how to break the ice in an unfamiliar environment. The conference also gave members the opportunity to connect with other students from Oklahoma's PBL Chapters and network for future projects.
Eastern was also honored with the award for “Chapter Traveling the Greatest Distance” at the event. Members attending the conference were Chapter President Jeanette Gonzalez, Treasurer Jackob Campbell, Reporter Dustin Welch, members Duke Villeda and Tony Landreth, and Advisor Amanda Smith.
