Aggie Club Donates Pumpkins To Wilburton Elementary
Aggie Club vice-president Rusty Harris and reporter Sam Eden (pictured) recently delivered approximately 70 pumpkins to Wilburton Elementary School.
The Aggie Club donated the pumpkins to several grades at the local school for Halloween. The pumpkins were raised on the college farm alongside a corn maze. Due to unfavorable weather conditions the corn maze was abandoned and the pumpkins were donated to the Aggie Club by EOSC Farm Manager Troy Walker. The pumpkins were sold to faculty, staff and students as a fundraiser for the club. The remaining pumpkins were donated to the local school as a community service project.
