Eastern's farm is composed of 4,000 acres of improved and native pasture, and hardwood and pine timberland. Commercial operations are managed for their economic potential, while promoting sound environmental stewardship and serving as a model for area landowners. The college farm serves as a living laboratory for all agricultural programs providing practical, "hands-on" educational experiences and employment opportunities for students.
