THE BOYS NEXT DOOR
A dark comedy about four cognitively-challenged men who live in a group
home and their caseworker who is suffering burn-out, plays Feb. 17,
18, & 21, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in Mitchell Aud.
Tickets are $3 at the door; Eastern staff, faculty, and students admitted
free of charge.
This play is very funny, but it also explores some really important
issues in our society; it is not for children. Those who plan to work
in the helping/nursing professions, those who study retardation or mental
illnesses, those who worry about, or think they have the answers, to
the future of the social security system, those who are caregivers either
professionally or in their own homes, and those who simply enjoy a good-natured
laugh at the human condition will enjoy this contemporary comedy.
