Login To Webct And Find My Course

Please do not try to login until the start of the Semester
Students who registered late (during or after the first day of classes) will need to wait 24 hours to login to WebCT.

Type in the following URL or click on the login iconWebCT Course Management System For Online Education
The URL is as follows: http://webct.eosc.edu

A Dialog box will appear; enter your WebCT ID and Password in the appropriate boxes.
Your WebCT ID is typically the first initial of your first name + the first initial of your middle name + your entire last name, all in lower case. For example: John Quincy Doe would have the WebCT ID of jqdoe.

If you do not have a middle name, use an _ (underscore) in place of your middle initial. Example: j_doe

Your password is the last four digits of your social security number. The first time you login to WebCT the system will ask you to change your password. Please write down your password and store in a safe place.

There are a few exceptions to these login instructions, if you have trouble with your WebCT login immediately contact your instructor. You can find all contact information for your course instructor listed on the faculty directory. The directory will contain the phone number and college e-mail address for your instructor. Once you are logged into WebCT most instructors will prefer that you only use your WebCT e-mail.

Understanding your myWebCT page and the WebCT Menu Bar

myWebCT

myWebCT Allows you to see a list of courses in which you are registered. Click on the course title to open the course.
Resume course Allows you to resume your place in the Content Module
Course Map Allows you to view the structure of the entire course in one page. The course elements are links, enabling you to go to any place in the course from a single page. This tool simplifies navigation and is especially useful for courses with a large number of elements
Check Browser Allows you to verify that your Web browser version is compatible for use with WebCT. If your browser does not check out as compatible, then you’ll need to select a compatible browser for use with WebCT.
Log Out Logs you out of the course and displays the Entry Page screen on which you enter your login.
Help Links you to the context-sensitive online help from WebCT.
