National ACT

The National ACT is administered on six test dates in February, April, June, September, October and December.  You must pre-register for the National ACT.  You can register online at www.act.org or by completing a registration packet.  Packets must be submitted by the deadline designated by ACT.  National ACT test dates for 2010-2011:

Residual ACT

The Residual ACT test is an acceptable alternative to the National ACT for students who plan to attend Eastern.  The scores from these tests are acceptable for admission only at Eastern.  The Residual ACT is offered at both the Wilburton and McAlester campuses.  Please pre-register by submitting your name, date of testing, and location in form below or call 918.465.1768.  We have limited space and materials available.  Seating availability is on a first come, first serve basis for nonregistered students. 

Testing begins promptly at 9:00 am in the Student Center room 224 on the Wilburton Campus and at 9:00 am in room 107 at the McAlester Campus. No student can be admitted to the testing room after the designated start time.  ACT requires a waiting period of 60 days between residual tests. 

The cost of Eastern’s Residual ACT is $35.  Students are also required to bring a picture ID.  Residual test dates are as follows:

COMPASS Testing

COMPASS is a placement test offered form 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday in the Testing center without appointment.  Students are allowed to test a total of four times in each area (writing, reading and math).  Students may test the first two times free of charge.  The last two tests cost $5 each.

CLEP Testing

CLEP testing is offered by appointment only.  Students wishing to take the CLEP test must fill out the application and submit it along with a $15 test administration fee.  Once the application and fee have been received, the Testing Center will contact the student to set up a testing date and time. CLEP charges a $77 fee for testing in addition to the $15 test administration fee.
