Alumni Association Hall of Fame

Co-sponsored by Eastern Oklahoma State College and the Eastern Oklahoma State College Alumni Association, the Alumni Hall of Fame was created to honor former Eastern students who have distinguished themselves by making considerable contributions in their field.

The Alumni Association considers for induction those who have attended Eastern Oklahoma State College, have achieved professional excellence, are distinguished community leaders and possess high character. The Alumni Association Board of Directors seeks nominations from its members and Eastern Oklahoma State College faculty and staff. The first three honorees were approved for induction as charter members of the Alumni Hall of Fame in 1988.

It is the goal of the Eastern Oklahoma State Alumni Association that the Alumni Hall of Fame serve as an inspiration to current and future Eastern students, and serve as a monument to the rich heritage of leadership which has evolved from Eastern. What began May 28, 1908 as the Oklahoma School of Mines and Metallurgy and became Eastern Oklahoma A&M College, is now, more than 100 years later, Eastern Oklahoma State College - the most diversified and comprehensive, fully accredited, two-year college in Oklahoma.

Eastern has many fine graduates and the individuals honored serve as an inspiration to us all.
