RICHARDSON, Texas (March 14) -- Central Oklahoma swept Lone Star Conference North Division player of the week honors Tuesday, with Derec Norman taking Hitter of the Week accolades and Nathan Nance Pitcher of the Week laurels.

Norman, an outfielder from Broken Arrow and a junior transfer from Eastern Oklahoma State College, batted .667 in five games, going 10-for-15 with 11 runs batted in. He had two triples and a home run while scoring seven runs as the Bronchos went 4-1 to work their way back into the national rankings.
