Eastern Basketball Players Make All-Region and All-Conference Teams

Five Eastern Mountaineers were named to the NJCCA Region II or the Bi-State All Conference teams on Saturday. Yesi Castillo and Adrienne Barnhill were named to the All-Region Women’s and Alejandro Flores was named to the 2nd team All-Region Men’s.

Castillo and Barnhill were also named to the First Team Bi-State All-Conference Women’s. Ashley Jackson was awarded the Honorable Mention to the Bi-State team. Flores was named to the First Team Bi-State All-Conference Men’s. Additionally, Larry Franklin was named to the Second Team Bi-State.

Castillo is from Maracay, Venezuela; Barnhill is from Allen, Texas; and Jackson is from Colbert, OK. Flores is from Santiago, Dominican Republic; Franklin is from Mansfield, Texas.
