Eastern Scores a Season High 17 Runs

The Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball team erupted offensively with 17 runs and 21 hits in route to a 17-11 victory against Kirkwood Community College.  Every starter contributed with at least one hit in the game.  Steve Irvine led the way with four hits.  Justin Mitchell, Gunner Glad, Casey Gibson and Colby Gibson each had three hits.  Russell Boothe chipped in two hits.  Mitchell raised his team lead in batting average .459, runs scored 27, and stolen bases 21.  On the mound, Levi Rhoades picked up his 2nd win of the season in his first start of the year.
