Eastern Oklahoma High School Basketball Tournaments ’07 to take over C.C. Dunlap Gymnasium 

Eastern Oklahoma State College is proud to announce the upcoming Boys and Girls class B, A, 2A, and Open Class High School Tournaments.  On December 3rd – 8th  the Class B, A, and 2A action will start at 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  There will be no games on Wednesday.  The final 6 games begin on Saturday starting at 3:20 pm with the Championship games at 7:40 for the girls and 9:00 for the boys. 

The open class tournament will begin on December 13th –15th with times beginning at 3:40pm Thursday and Friday, and 2:00pm on Saturday.  Championship games will begin at 7:40 pm for the girls and 9:00 pm for the boys.

The boys and girls of the class B, A, 2A schedule will feature Bokoshe, Haileyville, Kinta, Leflore, McCurtain, Red Oak, and Warner.  The boys teams featured in the open class tournament include: Clayton, Lakewood Christian, McAlester JV, Roland, Victory Life, Verdigris and Wilburton.  The open class girls teams include Clayton, Lakewood Christian, Roland, Victory Life, and Wilburton.

Verdigris roster includes standout, Rotnei Clark.  Rotnei Clark is taking aim at the state’s scoring record and he recently committed to play at the University of Arkansas.  According to ESPN Insider on 2008 prospects he is ranked #101 in the country and ranks #14 as a point guard. 

All games will be played at ‘The C.C. Dunlap’ on the EOSC Campus in Wilburton, and admission prices are:  $5 for adults and $3 for students. EOSC students,  Mountaineer Athletic Association members and kids under the age of 6 are free.  These prices are for each day’s action, meaning that it is a one-time fee to see all four each day.
