MOUNTAINEER BASEBALL Story by Aric Thomas NJCAA Ranks Eastern 22nd in First Poll The Eastern Oklahoma State College
baseball team received more pre-season recognition, this time
by the NJCAA. In its first
poll, the NJCAA ranked Eastern 22nd. To see the full poll
click: Chance Deason and Gunner Glad were
also named to the 2008 NJCAA Division I Pre-Season All-American
Team. Deason was named
as a pitcher after winning 7 games, tossing 78 innings and striking
out 78 during his Freshman campaign. Glad, tabbed at third
base, batted .406 with 12 home runs, 60 runs batted in and had
16 stolen bases last year.
