Three Mountaineer players have also received national recognition.  PG Crosschecker compiles a list of their Top 250 Junior College Prospects in the country that was released on January 15th, and Stephen Hagen, Justin Klusak and Tommie Johnson were named on the list.  Hagen was listed as the 56th best prospect in the country.  He is a red shirt freshman from Lakebay, WA that transferred to Eastern from Oregon State University.  He will play third and first base.  Klusak, a freshman, was listed as the 151st best prospect.  He attended McAlester High School and will play outfield for the Mountaineers.  Tommie Johnson (pictured) is a sophomore that will also play outfield for Eastern and he was tabbed as the 249th best prospect in the country.  Johnson attended U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City.

The 13th ranked Mountaineers open up the season this Wednesday February 4th against 1st ranked Grayson County College.  The two teams will play a double header at 12:00 pm in Denison, TX.
