Santo Named 1st Team All American, McCollum
Named Rawlings Gold Glove 3rd Baseman

The Eastern Oklahoma State College
baseball program received two distinct individual honors by the
NJCAA. Shortstop, Jesse
Santo was named NJCAA 1st Team All American and 3rd baseman, Casey
McCollum was named to the Rawlings Gold Glove Team.
Santo, a sophomore from New Jersey,
was one of 12 players in the country to be named a 1st Team All
American by the NJCAA. For
the season, Santo played in 58 games and batted .400 with 15 doubles,
4 triples, 17 home runs, 66 runs scored, 82 runs batted in and
24 stolen bases. Santo will play at the University of Missouri
next year.

McCollum, a sophomore from Tupelo,
OK was one of nine players in the country to be named to the
Rawlings Gold Glove Team. For
the season, McCollum played in 57 games and batted .378 with 14
doubles, 1 triple, 6 home runs, 52 runs scored, 44 runs batted
in and 22 stolen bases. He also had a fielding percentage
of .966 and only committed 7 errors in 203 chances. McCollum
will play at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock next year.
