Eastern Pitchers Having Success in Professional Baseball

Three former Eastern Oklahoma State College pitchers are throwing really well in professional baseball.  Ashton Mowdy (pictured) and Nate Pettus were signed last year by the Houston Astros.  Blake King signed with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2006.

Mowdy is pitching for the Lexington Legends in the Class A South Atlantic League.  Pettus is pitching for the Greenville Astros in the Rookie Appalachian League.  King is pitching for the Palm Beach Cardinals in the Class A Florida State League.
