2010 Eastern Oklahoma State College
Girls Tournament of Champions
January 7-9, 2010, McAlester Expo Center

Eastern will be hosting the 18th Annual Girls Tournament of Champions this Thursday through Saturday.  All games will be played at the McAlester Expo Center and the games begin tomorrow at 4:00 pm.

This is a very prestigious tournament, outside of the state playoffs, the Tournament of Champions is arguably the best girls basketball tournament in the state of Oklahoma.  It has a unique set up where some of the best teams from all different classes compete against each other.

This year's field includes two teams that were State Champions in 2009 - Del City (6A) and Vinita (4A).  Here is a list of this year's teams, class, records and current State Rankings by OK Rankings and Coaches Aid.

Del City - 6A - (4-4) - (16th and 15th)
Jenks - 6A (8-3) - (13th and 11th)
Coweta - 5A - (6-2) - (3rd and 7th)
Vinita - 4A - (7-0) - (3rd and 5th)
Heavener - 3A - (6-0) - (9th and 9th)
Silo - 2A - N/A - (not currently ranked)
Indianola - A - (9-3) - (12th and 14th)
Moss - B - (13-0) - (2nd and 2nd)
