Nine Mountaineers Receive All-Conference Honors

The 15th ranked Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball team received some post-season honors Monday afternoon.  The team finished as regular season Co-Champions of the Bi-State Conference and nine players received individual honors.

15th Ranked Eastern Completes Regular Season as Bi-State Conference Co-Champions

The 15th ranked Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball team (39-16 / 12-8), completed its regular season by defeating Panola College 17-7 on Friday and then splitting a double header 2-1 and 6-18 versus Texarkana College Sunday.

Eastern Dance Team Captures Third Place National Ranking
Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Pom and Dance team finished third in the nation April 11, at the 2008 NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship held in Daytona Beach, Fla. Eastern’s Cheer team also did well at the competition, finishing 16th nationally.

“I was delighted with the outcome, because the teams have worked so hard for this level of achievement,” Cheerleading and Pom and Dance coach, Pat Thomas said.
