Kelbie Kennedy, a 2008 graduate of Talihina
High School, signed a NJCAA letter of intent to play basketball
for the Lady Mountaineers at Eastern Oklahoma State College. She
will be attending the Wilburton community college on a full Presidential/Athletic
scholarship starting this fall when classes begin Aug. 12. Pictured

Eastern Oklahoma State College’s baseball
team had a historic season in 2008. With a final record of 41-18
the Mountaineers set team and individual records and raised the level
of the program to a National level.
