Eastern Defeats Grayson in Season Opener

The Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball team (1-0) opened the 2010 season with a 7-4 win at Grayson County College on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the 1st inning and then never looked back.

Houston Slemp and Jesse Baird Named in Top 200 Prospects in the Country

The Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball team is ranked 50th in the Perfect Game preseason poll.  This marks the 5th straight year that the Mountaineers have been nationally ranked.

Cameron Green’s Grand Slam Propels Team Blue to World Series Sweep

The Eastern Baseball Team continued their fall World Series on Wednesday.  The Blue Team entered the day leading the series 2-0.  After six lead changes, the Blue Team finished the sweep by winning 9-7.

Mings Guides Team Blue to a 2-0 Series Lead

The Eastern Baseball Team continued their fall World Series on Tuesday.  With a 12-5 victory, Team Blue has taken a 2-0 Series Lead.

The Blue Team scored twice in the 1st and 2nd innings to take a 4-0 lead.  Cameron Green had a two out, RBI single in the 1st inning and Kaleb Brawner drove in a run with a ground out in the 2nd.

Blue Rallies to Beat Black in Game #1

The Eastern Baseball Team began their fall World Series on Monday.  Despite falling behind twice, the Blue Team rallied to defeat the Black Team 9-5.

Team Black took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning on a RBI ground out by Chris Munoz.

Casey McCollum Receives the Rawlings Gold Glove Award

For the spring 2009 baseball season, Casey McCollum was selected as the NJCAA's best defensive 3rd baseman.  McCollum, a sophomore from Tupelo, Oklahoma, made just 7 errors in 203 chances for a fielding percentage of .966.
