"Eastern is what one makes of it", a statement heard
around campus many times. The organizations and clubs work endlessly
on activities for all the students. The assortment of organizations
give students a choice of things to do on campus, providing a little
something for everyone. Joining clubs is a great way for new students
to meet new friends who may share the same interests, as well as
showing them that there is more to college than just tests and finals.

Classroom commitments, activities and recreational opportunities make
the transition from high school to college a challenge that students
at Eastern are ready to meet.
Students at Eastern have the opportunity to be involved in many different
activities and organizations that apply to their specific needs and interest.
For those students not interested in joining a particular club, there
are a wide variety of other activities on campus including dances, pool
tournaments, athletic events, plays and music productions.
