Learning Resource Center Located on the first floor of Johnson, the Learning Center provides academic support and tutoring for all students seeking to improve their academic skills. Courses are available in English composition and basic mathematics. Academic and social counseling are also available. The Office of Student Support Services and the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families programs are also part of the Learning Center. The center welcomes all students! TANF Program The Temporary Assistance to Needy Family
programs provides basic training in employment skills and assists individuals

Student Support Services Student Support Services is a TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, and is one of the more than 800 similar programs nationwide whose purpose is to assist undergraduate students toward graduation from college. What we do depends in part on what you need to keep yourself enrolled, advised, counseled, funded and successful as an Eastern student. Our services provide a mix of support designed to help you enhance your academic and personal development. The staff will work with you on an individual or small group basis to provide the following:
