PLACEMENT OFFICE

Eastern Oklahoma State College maintains a Placement Office which provides graduates and current students with job information and assists students in finding positions relating to their academic preparation and personal qualifications. An up-to-date listing of temporary, part-time and full-time job vacancies from businesses, private industry, and social services and government agencies is posted on a "Jobs Board", which is accessible to current students, graduates, and the community.

The Placement Office provides assistance with resume writing, interviewing tips, and other job-seeking skills as well as schedules on-campus interviews with businesses, federal/state agencies and public schools. The Placement Office also assists employers in locating qualified persons to fill vacancies in their organizations. Faculty members are extremely involved in locating the most qualified applicant for the vacancy.

Graduates are encouraged to register with the Placement Office so they will be notified of job openings relating to their chosen fields. Eastern Alumni have a lifetime use of the Placement Services.
