New Lima, Preston, Rowland Take Top Honors At 27th Annual Scholastic Contest
(Press Release 04-05-06)

Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted the 27th Annual Scholastic Contest (April 4) during all-day academic competition on the Wilburton campus. There were 62 participating schools and over 1,767 entries in 31 tests, 24 schools in Division I, 17 schools in Division II and 23 schools in Division III.

Winners in Division I, 1st place, New Lima; 2nd place, Kiowa; 3rd place, Lakewood Christian.
Division II, 1st. place, Preston; 2nd place, Crowder; 3rd place, Haileyville.
Division III,1st place, Roland; 2nd place, Haworth; 3rd place, Hilldale.

Sweepstake’s over-all winner is Preston. The 1st runner up is Roland, 2nd runner up is New Lima; 3rd place is Crowder, 4th place is Kiowa.
