FINANCIAL AID OFFICE
What is Student Financial Aid?
Eastern has organized the Student Financial Aid Department to aid students
in meeting their educational costs.
Where Do I Begin?
Each student who wishes to apply for financial aid will need to complete
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
which can be obtained from our financial aid office, high school counselors,
libraries, by phone at 1-800-4-FED-AID or online versions. The FAFSA
online version can be found on their web site at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

Financial Estimator
Would you like to get an estimate before you fill out the FAFSA
application? This online financial estimator will give
you an approximate amount of your loan and can be found at http://www.fafsa.org/calculators/
Do I Qualify?
Financial aid is granted to students depending on their degree of need.
Using the FAFSA,
a student's degree of need is determined by an analysis of such factors
as family income, number of children in family, and value of family assets.
The amount of "financial need" determines the amount of financial
aid to be awarded.
What's Available?
Types of financial aid available to students include: Pell Grants, Supplemental
Education Opportunity Grants, Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grants, Tribal Grants
and Scholarships, College Work Study Program, Perkins Loans, Stafford
Loans, and Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students.
