department presents "Steel Magnolias" Theatre Eastern announces their Valentine offering, the ever popular and always hilarious comedy STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Feb. 13, 14, & 17, 2003, in Mitchell Auditorium on the Wilburton campus. Showtime is 7:30 each evening and tickets are $3 at the door. Shelley Dennis, Clayton sophomore plays MLynn; Beth Fields, Wister freshman plays Shelby; Lauren Helmke, Clayton freshman plays Truvy; Ashley Wallis, Buffalo Valley freshman plays Annelle; Bonnie Moore, Wilburton sophomore plays Clairee; and Kedleen Cooper, Tulsa freshman plays Ouiser. Lighting designer is Daniel Smith, McAlester freshman, while sound design is by Derek Earthman, Clayton sophomore. Set design is by Terry Wilson, Wilburton, while costumes are by Anisa Hernandez, Talihina freshman. Christina Bentley, freshman from Muldrow, is Stage Manager. Directed by Les Brelsford, this touching comedy is the playwrights tribute to his sister who died in the mid 1980s.
