In cooperation with the American Bankers Association(ABA) and the American Institute of Banking (AIB), Eastern Oklahoma State College is now offering on-line Internet courses to local bank employees to further enhance the banking industry.

AIB has been the leader in bank training for more than 100 years. It’s also the largest industry-sponsored adult education program, with more than 100,000 enrollees every year.

Eastern is currently offering a wide variety of courses over the Internet that were traditionally only taught in the classroom.

“Participants will receive the same high-quality education that has always been expected from Eastern and AIB, but without the long commutes,” Eastern program coordinator Becky Bryant said.

“Students now have the ability to set their own schedule, have more time with family, and have more courses and dates from which to choose. Courses are available for AIB credit and some college credit as well.
