(Press Release 10-06-03) Hank Mooney, Office of Public Information The Eastern Oklahoma State College livestock judging team traveled to several events recently including the Mid America Livestock Judging Contest in Wichita, KS; the Arkansas/Oklahoma State Fair in Ft. Smith, AR and the Tulsa State Fair. They walked away from all of these contests with several team and individual awards. The sophomore team placed 4th overall at Wichita, 4th overall at Ft. Smith and 4th in Sheep in Tulsa. Team members include from left Coach Brad Groves; Cody Pearce from Quinton winning awards for 2nd individual in sheep and 5th individual in sheep; Cody Martin, Soper, 2nd overall high individual and 1st in swine; Jeremy Huff, Mena, AR; Chase Groves, Garland, AR, 1st place swine and 5th place cattle; Tyler Dewey, Poteau; Chase Hilton, Mena, AR, 3rd cattle and 7th overall individual and Coach Ray Rice.
