Addresses OLS
(Press Release 8-23-04) Hank Mooney, Office of Public Information Eastern Oklahoma State College President Dr. Richard Bernard addressed beginning college students in the Claud C. Dunlap Field House as the semester began with orientation classes. Although enrollment for the Wilburton and McAlester classes continues through August 30 which is the last day to enroll for the fall semester, enrollment numbers show an increase above last fall. Regents at the Wilburton college were told during their regular meeting Friday that the total number of students at the McAlester campus and Wilburton is 1.2 percent above last year figures with students taking more hours. The full-time-equivalent (FTE) figures are up 3.8 percent above last year at the same time. Bernard told the regents that students continue to enroll and Idabel figures would not be in for another two weeks indicating that the final enrollment numbers would be even higher. ![]() |
