US Senator Inhofe Visits Wilburton Area

Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe, left, visited with a group of Wilburton officials and business people Wednesday afternoon at the Kiamichi Economic Development District of Oklahoma offices. He spoke with Eastern Oklahoma State College Regent Chairperson and McAlester Mayor Dale Covington as well as Eastern Regent Ken Bass during the "whistle-stop" meeting about current issues and bills he is working on in the United States Senate. Inhofe also gave local economic development people an opportunity to provide input to him for ways to help economic growth in southeastern Oklahoma.
