Eastern's Theta Pi Chapter recently attended the Phi Theta Kappa Oklahoma/Arkansas Regional Convention held in Tulsa, OK. The chapter representatives attended the two-day event which ended with a Banquet and Awards ceremony for the year. There are more than 45 chapters represented in the Arkansas/Oklahoma Region which submit award entries in the 4 Hallmarks of Service: Leadership, Fellowship and Scholarship.

Eastern's Theta Pi chapter was awarded the 5-Star Chapter award for the second year in a row and received a 3rd place Hallmark of Fellowship award. Students attending included from left Katie Briggs from Antlers; Kristen Alsup, Choctaw, Cliffton Hill, Tushka; Matt Wallis, Talihina; Linzi Marshall, Okmulgee and Phylicia Karch, Canadian.
