Eastern Oklahoma State College President Dr. Richard Bernard, right, and Eastern Vice President for Academic Affairs Brenda Steuer visited with Oklahoma Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs Dr. William McHenry from the state regents office Monday (Aug. 29) about academic initiatives of the Wilburton college. McHenry is touring colleges throughout the state to discuss academic initiatives for the upcoming year. Steuer said they discussed Eastern’s strategic plan including goals for new allied health programs at Eastern's McAlester campus and goals to increase on-line course offerings. Steuer said McHenry offered the resources of his office to assist Eastern accomplish established goals.
