Club Help Pediatric Cancer Patients
(Press Release 2-07-05) Hank Mooney, Office of Public Information The Eastern Oklahoma State College chapter of the national honor club Phi Theta Kappa sent hand made Valentines for Pediatric cancer patients at the Children's Hospital in the OU Medical Center recently. Club members Crystal Ashalintubbi from Eagle town, front; Kristin Alsup, Choctaw, left; Kevin Gloyne, Boswell, Katie Briggs and Erin Luke, Calera help make 61 home-made cards for the project. The cards, along with those made by the children's mission groups at First Baptist Church in Clayton, were sent as part of the "Love Makes the World go Round" project sponsored by the Oklahoma Children's Cancer Association.
