Eastern Student Senate Donates For Hurricane Relief

The Eastern Oklahoma State College Student Senate, with the help of Congressman Dan Boren, organized a hurricane relief effort were they collected 20 boxes of clothes, more than $1000 in cash donations and some school supplies to assist the gulf coast victims of the recent storms. The 20 boxes of clothes were shipped by UPS at no charge and will be delivered to Nicholls University on a "college to college" exchange according to Eastern Dean of Students Preston Boyles. "Nicholls is still housing more than 1000 hurricane victims and they are still in need of some clothes, especially children's clothes," he said.
