2005-2006 PHI BETA LAMBDA OFFICER & MEMBER INSTALLATION

The 2005-2006 officer and member installation for the Lambda Lambda chapter of Phi Beta Lambda was held Wednesday, September 21, in the ballroom at Eastern Oklahoma State College. With a membership over 260,000 and nearly 15,000 chapters across the United States and abroad, Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. is a growing national student organization. With its emphasis on vocational education, the organization prepares students for careers not only in business, but in any career where communication and interaction are keys to the work environment.

The officer installation ceremony was conducted by co-advisors Ms. Estella Bennett-Mask, Mrs. Linda Morgan, and Mrs. Debbie Layton.

The officers of the Lambda Lambda chapter for the 2005-2006 academic year are President Jayme Darragh, Hatfield, AR; Vice President Phylicia Karch, Canadian; Secretary Jesssie Goodin, Eufaula; Treasurer Amanda Mayhew, Wilburton; Reporter Stephanie Stotts, Wilburton; parliamentarian Ognjen Vlaskalin, Serbia; Historian Autumn Wolfe, Canadian; and Student Senate Representative Mandy Atkinson, Wilburton.

Following the officer installation, President Jayme Darragh took the podium for the general member installation. Installed members were Lizzie Cahill, Carrollton, TX; Amber Cole, Wilburton; Hiroko Ito, Kawagoe Saitama, Japan; Krista Kendrick, Wilburton; Tiffany Moore, Hartshorne; Christie Paxton, Panola; Crystal Stepp, Tuskahoma; Sharon Taylor, McAlester; and Amanda Thomas, McAlester.
