Eastern Phi Beta Lambda Recognizes Outstanding Members

At the chapter’s final meeting for the semester, Eastern Oklahoma State College Phi Beta Lambda announced outstanding chapter members for the fall 2006 semester. PBL President Mandy Atkinson received recognition as a Gold Member. Silver members are Historian Sheena Gaines, Canton, and Secretary Tina Empson, Talihina.

Every semester PBL members have the opportunity to achieve Gold and Silver Member Award status by completing activities ranging from attending weekly meetings to recruiting professional division members.

Gold Member Award winners earned a minimum of 130 points, while the Silver Member Award recipients earned a minimum of 120 points. Gold Member, Mandy Atkinson was presented with a certificate and a PBL calculator. Silver members Tina and Sheena, were given a certificate and a PBL tote bag.

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc., is a national student association that prepares students for careers in business and business related fields. Membership is over 260,000 in 11,000 chapters across the United States and abroad. Future Business Leaders of America is the high school division; Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate division.
