Campus Beautification Award Garnered By Business Club

Members of the Eastern Oklahoma State College chapter of Phi Beta Lambda came out ahead in a recent “trashy” competition. The contest, sponsored by the Eastern Campus Beautification Committee, was held on Friday, November 3, 2006. The event was designed to help get the campus cleaned up for Homecoming weekend, as well as to prepare it for an upcoming visit from North Central Accreditation Review team.

The Beautification Committee offered three awards in the form of monetary donations. The award categories were highest percentage of member participation, largest number of students participating, and most trash picked up.

The PBL “litter crew” was thrilled to be the winner of the award for highest percentage of members present. The club received $50 for its efforts!
