Baseball Team Delivers Holiday Food Baskets

Members of the Eastern Oklahoma State College baseball team in cooperation with John O'Dell, State Director of the Oklahoma Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Josh Heupel's Number 14 Foundation put together and delivered food baskets to 25 Wilburton area needy families this week. Dillon Hackler, left, from McAlester along with Casey Gibson, McAlester; Bryce Killingsworth, Hartshorne and Jimmy Gammons, Wilburton; autograph athletic programs while other team members put together the food baskets. The baskets contained a turkey, potatoes as well as other groceries with an estimated value of $40 or $50 according to Eastern Baseball Coach Aric Thomas. He also said he hopes that this will become an annual project for the baseball team.
