
Business Club Recognizes
Outstanding Members Submitted photo & caption At the chapter’s final meeting for the semester, Eastern Oklahoma State College Phi Beta Lambda announced outstanding chapter members for the fall 2007 semester. PBL Vice President Stormy McCarn, Clayton, received recognition as a Gold Member. Silver members are Renato Zink, Wilburton; Vanessa Tillery, Wilburton; and Joshua Barnes, Indianola. Every semester PBL members have the opportunity to achieve Gold and Silver Member Award status by completing activities ranging from attending weekly meetings to recruiting professional division members. Gold Member Award winners earned a minimum of 125 points, while the Silver Member Award recipients earned a minimum of 100 points. Gold Member Stormy was presented with a certificate and an EOSC executive travel case. Silver members Vanessa, Renato, and Joshua, were given a certificate and an Eastern portfolio. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc., is a national student association that prepares students for careers in business and business related fields. Membership is over 260,000 in 11,000 chapters across the United States and abroad. Future Business Leaders of America is the high school division; Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate division.
