Area Students Compete In
Math Competition

More than 50 students from nine area schools
competed in the regional Matchcounts competition recently held on the
Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College. Mathcounts is a
national math enrichment, coaching and competition program that promotes
middle school mathematics achievement in every U.S. state and territory.
It challenges students in math skills, develops self-confidence and
rewards them for their achievements. The top students advance to the
state and ultimately to the national level.

Students
