Eastern Hosts 28th Annual Scholastic Contest

Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted the 28th Annual Scholastic Contest (April 3) during all-day academic competition on the Wilburton campus. There were 63 participating schools and more than 1,600 entries in 31 tests, 22 schools in Division I, 16 schools in Division II and 25 schools in Division III.

Winners in Division I, 1st place, Lakewood Christian; 2nd place, Kiowa; 3rd place, Stuart.

Division II, 1st. place, Stuart; 2nd place, Warner; 3rd place, Central.

Division III,1st place, Roland; 2nd place, Poteau; 3rd place, Warner.

Sweepstake’s over-all winner is Preston.  The 1st runner up is Warner, 2nd runner up is Lakewood Christian; 3rd place is Roland, 4th place is Central.
