Division Announces Outstanding Graduate Jim Coffey from Prairie Grove, AR, was presented the Outstanding Agriculture Division Graduate by Division Chairperson Leland Walker during commencement exercises Friday (May 4) on the Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College. One graduate from each of the six divisions of the college is selected each year for the honor. During commencement, five other students were also named as Outstanding Divisional Graduates including: Debra Miller, Broken Bow, Division of Applied Science; Susan Caroline Fairweather, Hominy, Division of Science and Mathematics; Twylia Sherrill, McAlester, Division of Language and Education; Brent Shouse, Wilburton, Division of Business and Kyle Littlejohn, Wilburton, Division of Social Science and Music. While at Eastern Coffey maintained a 4.0 over-all grade point average, served as president of Eastern’s Phi Theta Kappa honor society, Aggie Club Student Senate representative and represented Eastern on the national level in various livestock judging contests.
