Eastern Meats Team Takes 3rd In Fort Worth

The Eastern Oklahoma State College Meats Judging Team Placed third in the Southwestern Livestock Show Meats Judging Contest in Ft. Worth recently. The team was third overall, 1st in Total Placings and Pork Judging, 2nd in Lamb judging, 3rd in Total Questions and 4th in Beef Judging. Individually Laura Beth O'Donnell was tied for high individual in the contest but lost the tie breaker and was 2nd, 1st in Lamb Judging, 1st in Pork judging, 1st in total placings, and tied for 4th in questions. Jacquie Welton was 11th overall, 1st in beef judging and 10th in total beef. Tyler Lovett was 4th in placings and 7th in lamb judging. Thomas Mullen was 6th in total placings. Aaron Coffman was ninth high individual in the alternates contest. Other team members were Amanda Cawvey and Bonnie Fry.
