Eastern Nursing Division
Announces Outstanding Graduate Debra Miller from Broken Bow, was presented the Outstanding Applied Science Division Graduate by Division Chairperson Wendy Hubbard during commencement exercises Friday (May 4) on the Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College. One graduate from each of the six divisions of the college is selected each year for the honor. During commencement, five other students were also named as Outstanding Divisional Graduates including:Jim Coffee, Prairie Grove, AR, Division of Agriculture; Susan Caroline Fairweather, Hominy, Division of Science and Mathematics; Twylia Sherrill, McAlester, Division of Language and Education; Brent Shouse, Wilburton, Division of Business and Kyle Littlejohn, Wilburton, Division of Social Science and Music. While at Eastern Miller was an LPN and worked at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel. She has a husband and two children, maintained a 3.85 grade point average and is among the top 10 percent of her graduating class.
