Eastern Science Division
Announces Outstanding Graduate Caroline Fairweather from Hominy was presented the Outstanding Science and Mathematics Division Graduate by Division Chairperson Karen Harrison during commencement exercises Friday (May 4) on the Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College. One graduate from each of the six divisions of the college is selected each year for the honor. During commencement, five other students were also named as Outstanding Divisional Graduates including: Debra Miller, Broken Bow, Division of Applied Science; Debra Miller, Broken Bow, Division of Applied Science; Twylia Sherrill, McAlester, Division of Language and Education; Brent Shouse, Wilburton, Division of Business and Kyle Littlejohn, Wilburton, Division of Social Science and Music. While at Eastern Fairweather served as vice president for scholarship of Phi Theta Kappa, was a presidential scholar and on the Mountaineer basketball team. She is majoring in pre-pharmacy and has a 4.00 grade point average.
