Eastern Social Science and
Music Division Announces Outstanding Graduate Kyle Littlejohn from Wilburton was presented the Outstanding Social Science and Music Division Graduate by Division Chairperson Marilynn Duncan during commencement exercises Friday (May 4) on the Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College. One graduate from each of the six divisions of the college is selected each year for the honor. During commencement, five other students were also named as Outstanding Divisional Graduates including: Debra Miller, Broken Bow, Division of Applied Science; Susan Caroline Fairweather, Hominy, Division of Science and Mathematics; Twylia Sherrill, McAlester, Division of Language and Education; Brent Shouse, Wilburton, Division of Business and Education and Jim Coffee, Prairie Grove, AR. While at Eastern Littlejohn was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, selected to Who’s Who Among American Junior Colleges, on the Dean’s and President’s Honor Rolls, participated in Eastern’s Candlelighting and Eastern’s Fall and Spring Musicals as well as playing the roll of Judd Fry in this year’s musical “Oklahoma.” He is the son of Alan and Melody Littlejohn, Wilburton and will be attending East Central University in Ada next fall.
