
College Livestock Judging
Team Brings Home Second Place Honors Eastern Oklahoma State College livestock judging team placed second at the Louisiana State Fair held in Shreveport, La, October 29 finishing just seven points behind Coffeeville Community College, Coffeeville, KA, and some 54 points ahead of third place Redlands Community College, El Reno. The Wilburton community college team took first in the sheep, second in swine and beef and third in reasons. "This team is just a few breaks away from an incredible victory," says judging coach Todd Blocker. “Our students did an outstanding job at a very tough competition.” Individual results included: Second High Individual: Bart Everett from Morris; Third High Individual: Cacey Coleman, Hayworth; Fifth High Individual: Cody Fuller, Mayesville; Sixth High Individual: Daniel Martin, Morris.
