College Alumni Hold Annual
Fish Fry Eastern Oklahoma State College President Dr. Steve Smith addressed the largest crowd in several years gathered for the annual Eastern Alumni Association Fish Fry recently. More than 300 alumni, staff and community leaders gathered for fellowship and a fish dinner complete with coleslaw, hushpuppies, beans and cornbread, cobbler and watermelon. Smith said it was just a time for everyone from the foundation directors to alumni and staff and the community leaders to get together and just say hi. The first Alumni Fish Fry was held in the mid-90’s at Beavers Bend State Park near Broken Bow. Others have been held at Robbers Cave State Park, Wilburton.
