Empson, Tina M. is an administrative office technology major
from Talihina with a 3.57 grade point average. She is a
member of the Phi Beta Lambda and involved with the PBL competitions. Tina
has been on the president’s honor roll, 2006-07, PBL Silver
member, 2006 and a Gold member, 2007. She is Outstanding
Student for the AOT department, legal emphasis, and won 1st Place
in the PBL State Competition in the Chapter Annual Business Report
division, 1st place in Business Communications, Word Processing,
Telephone Skills, Records Management, 3rd place and Grammar,
4th place. She is the secretary and chair for the Fundraising
Committee. Tina is a member of the Talihina Methodist Church
and she home schools her three children. |

Ferguson, Regina E. is an English/communications major from
Wilburton with a 3.73 grade point average. She is a member
of Eastern’s Honors Club and Phi Theta Kappa. She
has established a mentoring program and is a management trainee
at McDonalds. |

Giles, Elizabeth N. is a business administration major from McAlester
with a 3.33 grade point average. She is married with
a family of five children and works at Komar. Elizabeth is
a Boy Scouts den leader for troop 410 Wolf Den. Two of her
boys, five and six year-olds, play soccer and are in the Boys & Girls
Club and the 5th and 6th graders play tackle football and are also
in the Boys and Girls Club |

Haile, Kara L. is a math education major from McAlester with
a 3.93 grade point average. She is a member of Phi Theta
Kappa, Vice President of Fellowship and is a cheerleader. Kara
is a Presidential Scholar and on the dean’s honor roll. She
works at Bath and Body Works, volunteers for the Haileyville
Cheerleaders, is an Excalibur Cheer and Tumbler and attends the
Lakewood Christian Church. |

Hallemeier, Ashley K. is a theatre major from Okmulgee with
a 2.80 grade point average. Ashley is a member of
the Characters Club and is actively involved with the Drama Department
and intramurals. She was the Sound Chief for the
play “The Rainmaker” and Chief Advisor for the Children’s
play “Twinderella.” She placed 5th as the State
Champion in Shotput and Discus, she is the Assistant Coach for
the middle school summer league and does graphic design for Weddle
signs. After graduation, her future plans are to marry
and work for an advertising company, with hopes to create a small
theatre for the children’s summer activities. |

Hanzel, Aaron is a journalism major from McAlester with a 3.08
grade point average. He is a member of the Photo Club, the “Mountaineer” yearbook
and the Statesman newspaper. Aaron is active in the band,
on the Baptist Collegiate Ministries board, former Youth Intern
for the FBC in McAlester and is a video editor (freelance) for
church related and personal videos. |

Hill, Jolene R. is a theatre major from Red Oak with a 3.79
grade point average. Jolene is a member of the Characters
Club and is actively involved with the Drama Department and speech/debate. |

Hirabayashi, Kaori is a speech major from Japan with a 3.63 grade
point average. Kaori is a member of the Characters Club and
is actively involved with the Drama Department and speech/debate. |

King, Tarrant L. is a theatre major from McAlester with a 3.56
grade point average. Tarrant is a member of the Characters
Club and is actively involved with the Drama Department. |
